If you have received cut flowers, trim the stems diagonally about 2cm from the base prior to placing in clean water. Take special care to remove all leaves that will be underwater, as they contain bacteria that may quickly proliferate and spoil the water.

Wollstonecraft is a harbourside suburb located four kilometres north of Sydney's central business district, on the Lower North Shore. The suburb sits on Balls Head Bay in between Greenwich, to the west, and Waverton, to the east. Wollstonecraft's harbourside location and proximity to North Sydney and Sydney CBD make it a much-coveted place to live.
The suburb was named after Edward Wollstonecraft, who in 1821 became the first European settler to receive a land grant in the area. Berry Island Reserve, a harbourside park in the suburb, is named after Edward Wollstonecraft's business associate Alexander Berry, who was also one of the area's earlier prominent residents. In 2019, Domain ranked Wollstonecraft as the 6th most liveable suburb in Sydney (out of 569!).
Wollstonecraft Station is found in the suburb's northwest, adjacent to the lush and leafy Smoothey Park. The suburb's entire harbour foreshore is parkland, with Berry Island Reserve and Badangi Reserve overlooking Balls Head Bay. While Wollstonecraft's streets are largely residential, the Mater Hospital is based on Rocklands Road (partially within the suburb), adjacent to North Sydney and Crows Nest.
